+++My Favourite Japanese Anime+++

Hi guys! Here I am, again, TaekHyeong! This very post would and should be my final post that I should be uploading, that is compulsory. However, don't be saddened guys! I would continue to improve on my blog entries to be my very best! :)

Anyway, today, I will be writing about my favourite Japanese anime. Anime simply means cartoon videos in Japanese. I hope and believe that many of you enjoy it. There are many kinds of Japanese Animes: Naruto, Inuyasha, and Bleach, etc. Among these unique kinds of animes, I really love Bleach and I am a fan of it! YEAH!

Bleach is not just about advertising the cartoon itself. However, it teaches many fans about friendship and connections between many other people and the society, between yourself. And, these points make it doubly more interesting! There are many conflicts, such as betrayal, deception, rebellion and internal and external problems. This really grabs the audience's attention quickly with the juice of the plot of the story.

The main character of Bleach is named as "Ichigo". Cool, isn't it? He is now, a Shinigami, though he was once an ordinary human, just like anyone you see on the street. Shinigami is defined as "Death Gods". Ichigo, intentionally became a Shinigami, to save his endangered family members, who were threatened by Hollows. Hollows are simply defined as the unsatisfied souls which goes against the Shinigamis. Their main source of diet is living human's soul. Cruel, isn't it? From this scene, you can already see that the main theme for the anime is LOVE. Also, we can easily infer that Ichigo is a caring teenager with warm-hearted mind. He is a dependable friend, who never allows anyone to be left alone or lonely. He interacts with his friends very regularly with his playful characteristic. However, this is one of the points that the audience is attracted to Ichigo.

As written above, loneliness is treated terribly in Bleach. No one tolerates loneliness, however, most of the times, lonely people are those who are corrupted. "Absolute power corrupts absolutely!" This is a famous quote from one of the historians.

Basically, Bleach is a recommendable and commendable anime that boys and girls at their teen ages, SHOULD watch. I believe it will help you a lot in your daily life, with your changing character into a better one. And, I believe that this is how I've come this far, dependable, trusted and lead others. Bleach allows you to know yourself and have confidence in yourself, by the words that Ichigo and his comrades (Shinigamis). In my opinion, it is very cool!

Anyone who is interested in watching Bleach, without any lags or viruses from the first episode to the latest episode, feel free to go to "www.bleachget.com". No registration is required and it is free. English subtitles are provided. Hence, I really do hope to learn lots of good things from the Bleach itself and the characters themselves. :)

Enjoy yourself there and have FUN!

+++My Book Review of Harry Potter+++

Woo! Now then, I am going to write about my book review based on my favourite book, as well as my favourite movie- Harry Potter! I believe everyone loves the plot! So do I!

I succumbed to the lure of Harry Potter when a friend offered to let me read the series, this was before Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire was published. I was somewhat apprehensive as the majority of the publicity was aimed at the younger readers but so many people had said they were a 'great read'. Anyway I started on the first book Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone and was hooked from almost the first page though I hated reading a THICK book. :)

The characters though children were never treated as extraordinary, magic was normal. They were also still children, not adult characters in a children's environment. The plot was clever and eminently gripping. Harry had many characteristics that most men would recognise from their own childhood and the story never fell into ridding the story of nasty characters, Harry's 'foster' family are still there and you end up feeling sorry that they cannot see beyond their own noses.

The first book Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone introduced Harry to a new world where children were still children even though their world involved flying on broom sticks, learning and making potions and casting spells. Around all this was Harry's extraordinary history as the one who survived and somehow defeated "the one who must not be named" Voldemort. Even in this new place, there are children and teachers who either do dislike Harry or appear to do so. Harry makes friends and helps prevent a disaster all in his first year and with all this he finds a love of Quidditch - go for it Harry! :)

Book two Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, back to school and another adventure. Second year students have more to learn and it appears more to be afraid of.

Book three Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, another year at Hogwarts and Harry meets his uncle the only other living relative. How do you save someone who everyone thinks is a murderer. Harry and friends succeed and reveal more secrets at the school.

There is so much of the world that has not been revealed that each new book is able to explore the myths of our world and lay it next door to the mundane universe. The latest book Goblet of Fire was devoured with excessive greed.

Though I loved it, the story continually grows and fits with the way the others have written, but I was slightly disappointed. I expected something more, I do not know exactly what but it was missing something, maybe the heavy emphasis on the "bad guy" Voldemort, who though was the main thread through all the books I was hoping it would explore other areas in more detail. This may just be my opinion, but all the same I still await the next installment-is there a university for wizards! I need to apply.

In conclusion, I really enjoyed reading this book, though I took so long, just to finish reading a chapter and as a result, the book, itself. With the mysteries and history behind this background and the scenes, the book was able to attract many magic-lovers and children, whereby I am one of them. haha :)

+++My Diary of 24 January 2010+++

Dear Diary,

Oh my god! What a day to end one of the precious weeks like this? It was a both foul and a fair day...

As you can check in your calendar, 24 January 2010 is Sunday! Everyone should be enjoying and resting to prepare for another week of merciless "labour", right? If so, why is my Sunday so miserable compared to anyone? Okay, now, this is what happened that made me exhausted and weary... However, if not for these, my Sunday would have been a boring one, just like the many previous ones! :(

My 24 January 2010, Sunday, started in the very early morning, 6am. Early to wake up on Sunday, huh? Together with my brother, but without my breakfast, I headed towards the Bedok Community Centre, whereby my badminton training had been conducted. With no doubt, this one hour of exercising gave me an extraordinary feeling of joy and excitement, but I never knew why.

Afterwards, together with my badminton coach and my brother, we headed back to my residence area, to conduct swimming training. No rest was given, except for the few minutes that I could relieve myself while changing into swimming costume. :(

This part, is the one that I could possibly consider it as hell... Due to the badminton training, my arms and legs had been worn out and even veins swelled up.. Yet, I had to motivate and persevere myself to have another hour of swimming training. Because of the terrible and extreme exhaustion, I could not even make 100 metres, without my feet touching the floor. It was simply terrible, I thought. I could hardly breathe and continue with the remaining energy I had left. But soon, I was dismissed from the evil's hands. :) WOOHOO!! Finally! Till now, I was only mentioning about the foul things that happened on this very day...

The only fair thing that happened to me was that I really had a deep, long and peaceful sleep, immediately after I showered. But... nothing else was good enough to overcome my tiredness!

However, I was satisfied enough with myself that I could train myself until this far, knowing my fitness level. Though I have been always complaining about the challenges that I face everyday, I am proud of myself that I can overcome them, with my own strength.

+++My Favourite Interest+++

Hi, everyone! Today, I am finally going to blog about my favourite interest!!! YOOHOO!! This is so going to be exciting! Can you infer what I am going to blog about today from my personal information?

I, as said, have lots and lots of interests. In fact, everything that the public enjoys, is my interest. However, I can't and won't be talking about every single interest of mine right? I think, if I do that, you guys may have already counted a year...

Anyway, my favourite interest is..... Playing soccer! Yeah! Soccer is one of the most common, exciting and easy game in the whole of the world! Basically, during a soccer match, in each team, there are 11 players. For more information for those who are really interested in soccer, you may want to find out this following website- http://www.soccer-fans-info.com/soccer-rules.html. This website will brief to anyone, regardless you are a professional player or someone who is new to soccer, about the 17 most basic rules for soccer. Enjoy reading!

I have started playing soccer at the age of 6 years old, with my dad. He is also a sportsman, like me, who enjoys sports. Since I was a baby, I love to play with a ball, any kind of ball. However, the most attraction point of soccer ball is that... I get to kick it with all my strength which can easily distress myself. Also, it is a sport that is most favourited world-wide and my class-wide. Seriously, everyone enjoys it!

I often get injured while playing soccer. I have to admit that soccer is a tough and rough game. But, I don't care! I don't want to care about something that disallow my excitement and enjoyment! That is how I treat my favourite sport! I treat my own soccer balls as my brothers. Without them, I do not think that I have come this far with sports.

Some say that soccer is only for talented players. This can be true but at the same time, in my opinion, it is very wrong. Soccer is an ordinary sport that is enjoyed by lots and lots of people. Everyone can find their own way of enjoying and distressing themselves! So, let's all enjoy soccer together! Have fun! :)

+++Best-Looking and Tasty Food Ever+++

Hi, fellow readers! Here I am, again, TaekHyeong! This is my second post which can be very interesting to any one of you, who are interested in food category! Food is the source of our energy and so, it should be important to all of you, anyway! So, listen good, guys!

The food (picture above) shows one of the South Koreans' delicacies, Bulgogi. Some of you may have probably heard of it, if you enjoy eating Korean dishes! But for those who have not, you can just take this food as Korean-style barbecued beef. Simple, isn't it?

Bulgogi is one of the most favourited traditional foods in South Korea, currently. And, obviously, it is my favourite too!

There are many different ways of making Bulgogi, depending on your taste. As for me, I hate the beef to be very blend, and hence, I love to add some of soya sauce in. The meat that you use, should be a high-quality which is very easy and soft for you to chew. Some people even mix this dish with rice to have a quick meal!

Meat, such as chicken, pork, duck, and especially beef, contain lots of proteins and fats. These 2 elements in meat, are the two of the most basic source of energy that you need to live. I enjoy having easily chewable beef as my meal. I hope in one of the days, you can try it out, too! The taste is seriously indescribable, depending on the ingredients used and the way of cooking. It is simply fantastic!

However, although I enjoy Bulgogi, I do not have it frequently as the lots of fats, which can hardly be digested by our digestive system, are found in Bulgogi. Some of the fats comes from the beef, itself, while the rest of the fats comes from the vegetable oil that you use. Hence, Bulgogi may have very high level of cholesterol.

Overall, I really enjoy and love Bulgogi, especially as a South Korean. I hope you, too, will have a chance to try it in the future. Actually, you should try it, as I guarantee you that you would not have any regrets.

+++Personal Information About Myself+++

Hello, fellow readers, especially my friends and teachers! Maybe for most of you, blogging can be a part of your life and fun. However, as for me, I just started blogging, which was introduced to me by my cool English Language teacher. So, I hope you would kindly understand my blogging style, uses of language, and my personality. Thank you!

Now, let me, finally, introduce myself to you. My name is Taek Hyeong and I am from South Korea. I'm currently studying in overseas, Singapore, to learn and improve my English. Though I will be becoming 15 years old this year (2010), I am studying with Secondary 2 students. Since I am a foreigner to Singaporeans, my experience and knowledge of the country, and the language use can be very bad. However, despite the fact, I would really say that I am not intelligent but I am a hard-working boy. I've only starting learning the alphabets, only when I was in Primary 3. This shows that I've only learnt English for 6-7 years. Although I may be doing well in my studies and other areas, I will not slack or fall out during the middle of my education, but I am very determined to fulfill my dreams and future.

Everyone has their own hobbies and interests. Same goes for me, and I do have interests in many areas.
As for sports, with a well-built body and rapid movements, I love most kinds of sports, which allows me to run. Among these sports, I really enjoy to play soccer, especially with my classmates. In my opinion, crying is not the only way of distressing oneself but playing sports is a better method. Sports can be reckless and fun, and that is why I seriously love it!

"I am finally home, where I can do and have whatever things that I want." This is the only thought in my mind, when I am with my soccer ball in a football field.

Now, as for education areas, besides Physical Education lessons, which most boys love, I prefer Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. Firstly, it is because I excel in these 3 subjects. In order to do so, I should be a critical thinker and have patience on the questions. The 2 most important things when learning these subjects are, determination and commitment. I believe that I possess those qualities! If not, I, at least, hope so!

Lastly, I am going to blog, briefly about my family. My family has 4 members- My parents, a younger brother, and myself. I appreciate my parents very much to support and encourage me to help me to stand upright where I am now. Without them, I would be a useless empty can, rolling on streets after streets. My younger brother's name is Won Jun and he, together with me, is studying in Singapore, to improve his English skills. He is studying in Secondary 1 this year and he will be 13 years old this year. He is cute with chubby-looking face. Though sometimes I find him very irritating, which is natural, I usually get along with him very well. I love my family and appreciate my blessings.

My first blog is getting too long... I hope you were not bored while reading through it! I don't really enjoy blog very much but I will try my best to have interest in it, while updating it!

Thank you!
